Ready For (almost) Anything

We aren't the first people to decide to take a trip before starting a family and for that reason we are open to everyone's suggestions for how to make the most of it. We have decided to set the humble goals of rediscovering our true talents and passions and finding a way to make a living while traveling and gathering experiences and wisdom. Easy, right?

So we're officially beginning the second month of our 'last big trip before kids' where we get to just be the two of us out in the world. If we can have our way (and we know how things always go to plan!) we will be changing our lives forever in the the next year or so by making little humans that look like us. Soul searching and family visiting are a must beforehand.

Honeymooning and luxuriating are welcomed.

Now is the time to be brave and take risks both physically and metaphorically. I've been told that many parents find that with the arrival of their babies comes the loss of interest in skydiving, bungee jumping, scuba diving and free climbing. Whether or not that holds true for us, I think it's a great excuse to cross a few items off our bucket list. Don't worry, mom, that doesn't mean we'll do anything more dangerous than we would normally do. Personally, I've always cultivated a love for sports and activities that seem dangerous, but in fact, are quite tame if the proper safety rules are observed. By the way, I am an expert rule follower.

The trip so far is a zesty blend of many festivities scattered with diverse dear ones united by their roles in our lives as Family. We are filled with love and gratitude for the attention and focus we can give each of them.

We invite you to follow our journey when it inspires you and celebrate with us wherever you are. Our ideas and dreams are forming shapes and colors and we're discovering our true capability to create what we need and desire in this lifetime. Enjoy the blog.
